Fashion photographers now have a really actual motive to say that robots are taking their jobs. An organization referred to as FashionShoots has designed a fully-robotic trend images studio that may arrange its personal lighting and seize its personal footage and video whereas poor unemployed photographers stand by and watch.
Live consists of a depth sensor, a few High-CRI LED panels, and a Canon 1DX Mark II, all controlled by a stylist from the comfort of their own iPad Pro. Just input some simple instructions, ask your model to pose in the little “room” at one end of the contraption, and Live will basically do the rest. See Live in action below:
Of course, such a studio raises concerns about technology and its potential ability to replace human photographers with machines. In response to that concern, StyleShoots explained in a long FAQ sheet that it didn’t design its smart studio to be a replacement for humans. ‘To run a fashion shoot,’ the company explained, ‘you need a creative eye to compose the shot, pose the model and style the clothes — a robot can’t do that (yet).’
StyleShoots will be showing it off at EuroShop 2017 (Hall 11, Booth F59) from March 5th through the 9th.
