Presenting the most successful award of photography industry World Press Photo, which had celebrated it’s quiddity recently by offering it’s prestigious award to lionize the deserving photographers. Photographers gave a lot heed to win this prizefight conducted by World Press Photo.

It’s 2016 contest received an enormous brilliant pictures across the globe, coming under motley categories.

Here are the types of cameras used by title-winning photographers of the contest who sent their epitome photos of 2015.

The tool for identifying EXIF was designed by created by the Spanish site Quesabesde which analyzed and identified the right format pictures.

Excitingly, Canon topped the chart among all those cameras brought into play by photographers of 45 shortlisted photographs. Canon 5D MARK III was used to shoot 15 photographs and 6 were shot by Canon 1D X.

Nikon did also take the stage, with it’s Nikon D810 model which clicked 4 photographs from the pool.

As per the flow of announcement , winning Australian photographer, Warren Richardson used an older 5D MARK II and a 24mm f/1.4 at ISO 6400.The moonlight irradiated his photograph.

Photojournalism has never loosened its grip over DSLR and hence could find that most of the photographs were taken using DSLRs — mirrorless, compact, and action cameras.
