The Airport Accelerator Backpack is a high quality bag worthy of consideration by anyone that frequently carries a healthy amount of gear through airports and doesn’t wish to check their bag. This bag is also ideal for wedding, portrait, and landscape photographers who often find it impractical to use a roller-style bag on wooded or irregular terrain.

Thanks to Think Tank India for Sending Airport Accelerator For Review. Even though I own Airport Takeoff which is a Rolling Case and a Backpack I was not so fond of it as it was not comfortable to carry for long because of the built in stroller but Airport Accelerator has solved most of the problems I faced with the Airport Takeoff. Being a Landscape Photographer and Sports/Wildlife Photographer I am used to carry decent amount of luggage in air travel and couldn’t afford to risk in to put my Canon 500 mm in Check-in luggage. Thanks to Airport Accelerator its Airport Carry-on Approved and I can very well carry 500 mm with my 1DX Mark II mounted along with 2 other bodies and lenses with additional accessories like a bliss.

Features ::

I ) Airline Carryon approved ,

Arrangements ::
Think Tank is a Brand Which helps users in Choosing the best possible camera arrangements( frequent travellers know how hard it is to arrange cameras safe and sound without movement). They give out two arrangements for Both Canon and Nikon Gear (In case you are new to backpacks). There are N Number of Possibilities apart from the arrangements provided by Think Tank. For Instance I tucked in a 500 mm F4 with 1DX Mark II,Pentax 645Z with Lens and Canon 5D MK III with 70-200 F2.8 Attached without any trouble. This can even Fit in Two 500MM F4 with body(if u decide to give out the space entirely just for those two lenses).

Build quality & Comfort ::

This is something every Photographer should worry about especially if it’s a backpack. It should fit in right and spread the weight even throughout the body hence we don’t feel tired for long walks. Most of the Photographers who prefer a Backpack will carry loads of cameras,tripods,accessories and at times safety,food items to cater the needs all times so they don’t want to come back for refilling anything. After adjusting the Shoulder straps and waist straps the weight is evenly distributed. The bag as such is around 2.4 kg and I added up around 15 KG of equipment without any trouble. This could even hold more weight if properly arranged.

Protection ::

One of the Best Feature in ThinkTank Airport Accelerator is attached cameralock with number lock. If in case if you want to leave ur luggage for a short time you can tie it to a poll or somewhere safe with less worry about someone robbing it.

Upgrades ::

The bag comes with Clamps on both straps if in case if u decide to upgrade to ThinkTannks Camera housing straps or lens pouches for easy access.

Safety ::

The bag also comes with Seam sealed Rain cover which can cover the entire bag (if in case rain disturbs your shoot) and you can be assured about saving your gear from rain.
